SOCIETY
V.R Senior Secondary Public School was established on April 2002 by V.R Educational Society for Excellence (Regd), Chandigarh comprising of eminent educational scholars and Erudite academics. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education upto 10+2 (in Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce).

SCHOOL BUILDING
The School is well equipped with adequate infra-structure. The building is spacious and well ventilated which includes class rooms, standard height Gymnasium Hall, Auditorium Hall, Huge science labs with all modern equipment's and best play grounds. All the class rooms are Well Ventilated, Natural Light, Spacious and Fully Furnished with all the modern amenities. C.C.TV'S have been installed in all the rooms and at all other prominent places to monitor the school activities.

LIBRARY
A library is the heart of a school. So in order to inculcate the habit of reading among the students, the school has a well stocked library, which includes more than 50,000 books on all subjects. The books cover a wide range of topics for all age groups adding to their knowledge, besides entertaining them.
TRANSPORT
The School provides bus facilities from Barottiwala and Nalagarh. Though the school management tries to provide bus facility to maximum number of students, but the parents must know that the child will be picked up only from selected specified stops. Bus charges will be fixed according to the distance from the school. Transport facility once availed by the student shall be continued till the year end.
A fleet of 15 buses is being maintained by the school that covers vast areas nearby school premises for the parents to avail for their children. All the busses are fully equipped with CCTV cameras, Emergency Kits and Speed Limiters keeping in mind the safety of students.
