CBSE Capacity Building Program

On August 28, 2023, our school hosted a comprehensive capacity-building program organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in collaboration with our educational institution. This program was centered around the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), a landmark reform in the Indian education system. The event was attended by a total of 60 dedicated educators from various disciplines and grade levels.

The main objective of the program was to equip teachers with a deep understanding of the key principles and components of NEP 2020 and to provide them with the necessary tools and strategies to effectively integrate these reforms into their teaching practices. The event aimed to facilitate a smooth transition towards the new educational paradigm envisioned by NEP 2020, fostering holistic development, critical thinking, and 21st-century skills among students.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in a series of enlightening workshops, interactive discussions, and informative presentations. Distinguished speakers and experts in the field of education delved into the fundamental tenets of NEP 2020, including its emphasis on experiential learning, interdisciplinary studies, and promoting a well-rounded education.

Attendees had the opportunity to share their insights, concerns, and ideas related to the practical implementation of NEP 2020 within our school's context. Collaborative group activities and brainstorming sessions were organized to encourage teachers to devise innovative teaching methodologies that align with the spirit of the policy.

The program also highlighted the significance of fostering a growth mindset, teacher autonomy, and continuous professional development, all of which are core elements of NEP 2020. Teachers were encouraged to leverage technology as an enabler of effective learning and were introduced to various digital resources that could enhance their teaching practices.

The capacity-building program was enriched by the valuable insights and expertise shared by two distinguished resource persons:

  1. Ms. Anupama Sharma Ms. Anupama Sharma, a retired Principal from Panchkula, brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the event.
